Since 1966 our butcher shop De Leeuw at the Utrechtsestraat is known as one of the most artisan butchers and caterers of Amsterdam.
We import our own selection of tasteful, high quality meat and other products from Spain, Italy and France. Consider Wagyu beef, Galician beef, fresh Iberian pork, jamón ibérico (pata negra), Bresse poultry, fresh truffles and gourmet.
Our professional chefs daily prepare fresh gourmet dishes which makes grocery shopping in our shop a true culinary feast.

We will give you personal advice how to treat and prepare the meat and help you to make your dinner or lunch a tasty and culinary success!

As from September 2000, I continued butcher shop De Leeuw with the same passion and craft skills as the previous owners, Yolanda and Fred de Leeuw.

Please feel welcome to visit our shop in the Utrechtsestraat, center of Amsterdam, or shop online in our webshop. We ship your order in a tempex box with ice packs via bike courier in Amsterdam or in The Netherlands within 1-2 days.
