POULTRY

We are selecting poultry for our clients by keeping the following selection criteria in mind. The free-range birds are being raised extensively, this means that they have enough space outside to eat what nature has to offer, while having extra foraging with only natural grains. They are birds of slowly growing species and adult animals as much as possible, living a life without stress.

We offer poultry from the French Bresse area, which has a very delicate taste and they are being raised under very strict regulations according to the  'A.O.C.' quality mark (Appellation d’Origine Controlée).

From the Bresse region we sell guinea fowl ('pintade'), turkey, capon (castrated rooster), pigeon, goose and duck (canard (M) and canette (F)).

Furthermore there is the qualified Label Rouge corn-fed quail from Les Landes (Southwest French coast region), the Impérial-pigeon from the Anjou region (Midwest France), French corn-fed rooster, 100% reliable Dutch EKO-chicken and red-legged partridge.

The French Label Rouge title guarantees natural forage, a longer life and enough free-range space. We receive the poultry complete and with head, legs and intestines and we clean it for you the moment you buy it.

Some poultry, such as turkey and pheasant, is only available in a specific season.
