Product description

Fresh summer truffle (Tuber Aestivum)
The season for fresh summer truffle is from approximately may till approximately August,
depending on the weather conditions and availability in Italy.
Compared to the white and black winter truffle this is the least gastronomical truffle,
but the price is friendly and it has a good taste and aroma.
You can add it to a warm dish (at the last moment, when the fire has been turned off).
A good combination with dishes like egg, potato, risotto, pasta, sauces etcetera.
Can also be frozen as well.

Our advice is ± 5 - 10 grams per person. If you would like to slice it on a warm dish
(for example with our RVS truffle slicer or the olive wood truffle slicer), take into
account to order a minimum of 15 gram; you have to hold it in your hand for slicing.

Week price E 7,50 per 10 gram (minimum order of 10 grams).

Later in the season, from approx. September till approx. December we have the autumn truffle
(Tuber Uncinatum). This truffle has the same specifications; only its taste and aroma are
a little more concentrated.
