Product description

* AT THE MOMENT WE DO NOT HAVE FRESH AUTUMN TRUFFLES YET *

In the truffle seasons, every Tuesday afternoon we receive fresh truffles directly from Italy.

The season for fresh autumn truffle runs from about September to approximately December, depending entirely on the weather conditions and availability at the time. (The season for fresh summer truffle is earlier, from about May to about August.)

Compared to the white and black winter truffle, the summer and autumn truffle are the least culinary truffle of all, but also much more price-friendly. However, still with a nice taste and aroma. Can be added to a hot dish at the end (while the pan is already off the heat source).
Best is to combine it with dishes such as egg, potato, risotto, pasta, etcetera.

We recommend an average of 5 to 10 grams per person. Do you want to shave it over a dish (for example with our stainless steel RVS truffle slicer (or the olive wood version), keep in mind that you order at least 15 grams, because you still need to be able to hold it.

There is a weekly fresh supply in the truffle season and therefore the price fluctuates.

Price shown online is per 10 grams; weight in the butcher's shop is per piece.

Furthermore, in December, around Christmas, you can choose between fresh white truffle and fresh black wintertruffle; delicious with risotto, pasta, soups, sauces and gravy.
