FRESH WHITE TRUFFLE, TUBER MAGNATUM PICO

The season of the white truffle, the most exclusive among truffles, runs from about mid-September to about the end of December, entirely dependent on the weather conditions and availability at the time. The white truffles come from the epicenter of Alba, Piedmont in Italy. It is an ethereal truffle, the most fragrant truffle, and is used at the table shaved over a hot or cold dish, preserving the taste and aroma as optimally as possible.

You eat it like drinking a beautiful wine: first your nose above it and then heavenly enjoyment! Pairs well with dishes such as egg, potato, risotto, the most refined Cipriani pasta, Parmigiano reggiano etcetera. Delicious on (Wagyu) carpaccio too!

We recommend an average of 2 to 5 grams per person. Do you want to shave it over a dish (for example with our stainless steel RVS truffle slicer (or the olive wood version), keep in mind that you order at least 10 grams, because you still need to be able to hold it.

There is a weekly fresh supply in the truffle season and therefore the price fluctuates.

Price shown online is per 10 grams; weight in the butcher's shop is per piece.
